The Spare Tire 0626
This Bespoke Spare Tire pairs heritage materials with modern technical construction, creating a piece that feels equally at home in alpine environments and everyday life. Think, Alpine Studio…we did.
The exterior is crafted from P270 Vintage Waxed Cotton by Halley Stevensons in a rich, muted green inspired by classic field gear. Finished with Everwax™, the fabric has a drier hand feel, enhanced weather resistance, and a high-character patina that evolves beautifully over time. Each crease, scratch, and mile adds to the story.
Inside, the Spare Tire balances aesthetics with practical organization. Fully lined in Wolf Gray ECOPAK 400D to provide structure and durability to the waxed canvas exterior. The main compartment features a Venom Stretch Mesh divider pocket to keep essentials, like your wallet and keys, separated and easy to find. The front zippered pocket provides quick access to phones or other small daily items.
One of the most subtle details is also our favorite: a hidden peek-a-boo embroidered ULA logo tucked inside the front zippered pocket. Invisible when closed, it’s a small design moment discovered only in use — understated branding for those who appreciate thoughtful construction over loud labels.
The back is padded with grey spacer mesh for comfortable wear, whether you’re in the alpine or on the street.
The palette was intentionally designed around understated alpine tones: layered greens, wolf greys, and textured technical fabrics that feel durable, yet refined. From the wolf grey ECOPAK interior to the ranger green zipper sliders and olive cord pulls, every detail was chosen to create a cohesive carry system.
Available in S/M and L/XL hipbelt sizing, as well as a sling-style configuration, the Bespoke Spare Tire adapts easily to different carry preferences and adventures.

The Model
The Spare Tire (v2) is a compact, versatile waist pack that’s great for days on the trail, urban exploration, or wherever you need extra room and to keep things close at hand.
Zippered with easy-access pull tabs, the main compartment has a mesh divider to separate essential items, like your wallet, from everything else. The zippered front pocket has just enough space for all the daily essentials without weighing you down.
A mesh padded back makes it comfortable for all day wear.

The Fabrics
Halley Stevensons P270 Waxed Cotton
For the exterior of the Bespoke Spare Tire, we selected P270 Vintage Waxed Canvas from Halley Stevensons of Scotland for its durability, weather resistance, and ability to evolve with use.
Halley Stevensons has been developing technical waxed cottons since 1864 for maritime, military, and industrial applications. Their textiles combine heritage manufacturing with modern performance, producing fabrics that are durable, built to last, and develop character with age.
P270 Vintage is a tightly woven, 100% BCI cotton. Everwax™ provides a drier handle and high patina on handling. This finish offers improved durability and weatherproofing.
True to the Bespoke Series philosophy of intentional design, this fabric creates a pack that improves with age. In contrast to synthetic materials, which remain visually static, P270 Vintage records movement, travel, and wear…softening, darkening, and becoming more personal with use.

Challenge Outdoor EPX EcoPak™
The Spare Tire 0626 interior is fully lined with EPX EcoPak™ 400D fabric by Challenge Outdoor. This innovative technical laminate is the world’s only durable, waterproof fabric made from 100% recycled polyester fiber and film.
In addition to upcycling twenty plastic water bottles per yard, EcoPak’s C0 DWR finish contains no fluorocarbons.
EPX 400
EXP 400 was chosen for the exterior, as it has nearly twice the abrasion resistance of a 420d nylon.
Constructed with a 400D face, 45° Blue CrossPly, and 70d ripstop backing, this fabric has a tear strength of 45.7 lbs on the warp, and 42.9 lbs on the fill. It is abrassion resistant to 3,000 cycles.

Venom™ Stretch Mesh
Venom™ Stretch Mesh was chosen for the interior seporator panel for its balance of utility and form. Lightweight yet rugged, the expanded 5×5 UHMWPE grid increases elasticity for smoother access and improved adaptability without sacrificing structure. Built on a 100% recycled nylon base and finished with a PFC-free C0 DWR, it reflects a commitment to sustainability and reduced environmental impact.
