The Cicada 0426 — Forest
The Cicada 0426 is built in homage to legacy, loyalty, and the energy of a game well played. Inspired by an away kit from one of Peter’s favorite football clubs, this edition pairs a classic exterior with an electric interior that rivals the intensity of matchday.
Built in EcoPak™ 400 Navy Blue, with the clean, tailored lines of the classic Cicada EWP, the exterior is confident and understated. A color-matched Box X grab handle and matching shoulder straps keep the look cohesive, while black webbing, zippers, and stitching sharpen the silhouette without drawing attention.
Three exterior pockets, lined in EcoPak™ 200 Pink Flamingo, keep you organized, each pocket revealing a hint of what’s waiting in the interior.
The carry system is customizable with your choice of S-straps or J-straps. Subtle “racing stripes” define the back panel, adding durability, contrast, and tactical structure without disrupting the clean design. The luggage pass-thru and hidden passport pocket have been purposefully omitted from this build.
Built on our EWP model, the Bespoke Cicada 0426 features exterior and interior water bottle pockets in blackout UltraStretch Mesh, offering easy access on the go, or maintaining clean exterior lines without sacrificing hydration.

A fully lined EcoPak™ 200 Pink Flamingo interior delivers a high-contrast burst of color that’s impossible to miss.
Beyond the color, the interior is built for movement: a front panel with a lower open mesh pocket for quick-access essentials, an upper black mesh pocket for privacy and a low-profile pen/stylus holder for when ideas need to move as quickly as you do.
A padded laptop sleeve with false bottom protects your tech from drops. Fits most 13″ laptops.
The Forest moves easily between worlds…from the office, to the airport, to the pitch. It carries like a classic yet performs like an modern system. It’s comfortable, familiar, and just a little bit eccentric. Kinda feels like pulling on your favorite club’s jersey.

The Cicada applies that same trail-proven commitment to function and toughness and reimagined it for life in motion—whether you’re commuting, catching a flight, or posted up at your favorite coffee shop.
The Cicada is a streamlined, front-loading daypack designed for intuitive organization and ease of access. Four exterior pockets—two smaller zippered stash pockets, a larger front compartment, and a top pocket with built in lanyard—provide secure yet quick access to essentials. The thoughtful internal layout features static, mesh-zippered pockets, a full-height UltraStretch™ mesh sleeve, and dual internal UltraStretch™ mesh bottle or accessory pockets. A low-profile pen/stylus holder is integrated into the front panel for those moments your ideas need to move as quickly as you do. A padded laptop sleeve with a false bottom protects your tech from drops.
Comfort is delivered through a minimal racer-striped back panel, padded haul loop, and ULA’s signature S- and J-Straps. This build does not have a luggage pass-thru or a hidden passport pocket.
From trail-tested to city-ready, the Cicada delivers ULA reliability in a form that fits under an airplane seat—and into everyday life.

The Fabrics
Challenge Outdoor EPX EcoPak™
The Cicada 0426 is built with EPX EcoPak™ fabrics by Challenge Outdoor. This innovative technical laminate is the world’s only durable, waterproof fabric made from 100% recycled polyester fiber and film.
In addition to upcycling twenty plastic water bottles per yard, EcoPak’s C0 DWR finish contains no fluorocarbons.
EPX 400
EXP 400 was chosen for the exterior, as it has nearly twice the abrasion resistance of a 420d nylon.
Constructed with a 400D face, 45° Blue CrossPly, and 70d ripstop backing, this fabric has a tear strength of 45.7 lbs on the warp, and 42.9 lbs on the fill. It is abrassion resistant to 3,000 cycles.

EPX200
EPX200 was chosen for the interior lining because, unlike traditional liners, the fabric resists stretching and deformation over time, maintaining the pack’s structure even with frequent use.
Constructed with a 200D face, 45° Blue CrossPly, and 70d ripstop backing, this fabric has a tear strength of 33.1 lbs on the warp, and 34.6 lbs on the fill. It is abrassion resistant to 500 cycles.

UltraStretch™ Mesh
UltraStretch™ is a lightweight, durable 4-way stretch mesh built for performance and longevity. Woven from Nylon 6,6, Lycra®, and Ultra-PE, it delivers exceptional flexibility with outstanding strength. It’s up to 15x stronger than steel, gram for gram. Finished with a C0 DWR coating and rated for 20,000+ abrasion cycles, it’s made to handle real-world use without compromise.
