The 30L Dragonfly 0326 — 3 YEARS
“I’ve always loved waxed canvas bags. Come to find out, Jeremy also loves waxed canvas bags so about 3 years ago, we decided to buy some waxed canvas to make some personal EDC/Travel bags. A few of those one-off prototypes have been sold, and whenever I see them posted, customers ask if they can buy them. After 3 years, we have finally decided to make our first production waxed canvas Dragonfly! Much of my hesitancy to release this product has always stemmed from the conflict between being an Ultralight backpack company and using classic materials. A few months ago, after high customer demand, I decided we could make a fully featured EDC/Travel pack in Waxed Canvas & Leather that is ultralight compared to what’s available on the market.” — Peter
The Bespoke 0326 30L Dragonfly is the result of that three-year tension between tradition and ultralight philosophy; ultimately, we chose to lean into both.
The body of the pack is constructed from Halley Stevensons’ P400 Alchemy Waxed Canvas in Grey. This heritage textile carries the depth and lived-in character waxed canvas is known for, developing a subtle patina with use. The exterior front panel includes a pleated, zippered pocket in matching waxed canvas to maintain visual continuity while expanding storage.
Anchoring the design is a full-grain black leather bottom panel. We chose the highest quality leather available for it’s durability, structure, and the way it will age alongside the canvas.
Water bottle pockets are built from Blackout UltraStretch Mesh, maintaining function and stretch without distracting from the classic palette.
The interior of the 0326 (excluding the bottom panel) is fully lined in True Red X-Pac® VX21RS, creating contrast, visibility, and weather resistance. A 15″ laptop sleeve and Venom mesh interior tablet/organizer hold your tech in place. The interior front panel features a split-compartment, with one pocket in open mesh for quick visibility and the other in Venom mesh for privacy.
This edition intentionally departs from the standard 30L Dragonfly with:
- No internal compression straps
- A 1.5″ removable vertical pass-through strap for securing to rolling luggage
- An Integrated AirTag holder in Wolf Grey Venom Mesh in the upper top compartment
Only 30 of these packs have been produced — 15 with S-Strap shoulder straps and 15 with J-Straps — allowing you to choose the fit that suits your build and carry preference.

The Model
The ULA 30L Dragonfly was designed to be the ideal one-bag travel companion. Built with a quick weekend getaway in mind, its front-loading design makes packing intuitive, so you can be out the door in minutes.
While optimized for travel, the Dragonfly wasn’t meant to live solely in overhead storage bins or under a seat. Its streamlined carry makes it equally at home on the trail, navigating urban landscapes, and tackling your “must-see” list. It’s a versatile pack designed for movement.
The 30L Dragonfly offers purposeful storage to keep you organized. Aquick-access top pocket keeps essentials secure and within reach. Two oversized mesh side pockets easily accommodate 64-oz bottles. The front panel features both internal and external organization: inside, a split pocket system (one open mesh, one zippered) keeps smaller items contained, while the exterior mesh pocket provides additional storage for layers or frequently used gear. For overflow storage, the exterior bungee system secures layers or gear when space inside is limited.
A suspended 15-inch laptop sleeve doubles as a hydration bladder sleeve, maintaining flexibility between travel and trail.
ULA’s signature shoulder straps and an adjustable sternum strap provide all-day comfort. For additional support, low-profile 1″ fixed attachment loops are integrated behind the lower shoulder strap anchor points, allowing compatibility with our removable 1″ hipbelt.
A padded haul loop offers a secure grip even at maximum loads. Reverse-coil YKK zippers are used throughout for durability and weather resistance.

The Fabrics
Halley Stevensons P400 Waxed Canvas
For the 30L Dragonfly 0326, we selected P400 Alchemy Waxed Canvas from Halley Stevensons of Scotland for its durability, weather resistance, and ability to evolve with use.
Halley Stevensons has been developing technical waxed cottons since 1864 for maritime, military, and industrial applications. Their textiles combine heritage manufacturing with modern performance, producing fabrics that are durable, built to last, and develop character with age.
P400 Alchemy is a tightly woven, 100% BCI cotton canvas. A unique blend of Wax C4X and soft waxes provides a slightly firm, warm handle. This finish offers improved durability and weatherproofing.
True to the Bespoke Series philosophy of intentional design, this fabric creates a pack that improves with age. In contrast to synthetic materials, which remain visually static, P400 Alchemy records movement, travel, and wear…softening, darkening, and becoming more personal with use.

Full Grain Leather
For the Bespoke 0326, we chose full-grain leather for the bottom, the highest quality and grade of leather available. Unlike top-grain leather, which is sanded and corrected for uniformity, full-grain retains the natural fiber structure and character of the hide. This integrity translates to superior strength and long-term durability. Since the bottom of a pack endures the most abrasion, weight, and ground contact, we believe the foundation should be uncompromising. Like waxed canvas, full-grain leather develops a patina that deepens with use, meaning it doesn’t just withstand the journey; it tells the story of where you’ve been.

Venom™ Stretch Mesh
Venom™ Stretch Mesh was chosen for its balance of utility and form. Lightweight yet rugged, the expanded 5×5 UHMWPE grid increases elasticity for smoother access and improved adaptability without sacrificing structure. Built on a 100% recycled nylon base and finished with a PFC-free C0 DWR, it reflects a commitment to sustainability and reduced environmental impact.
In the Bespoke 0326, we used Wolf Gray Venom™ for the interior tablet pocket, QAP organizer, interior panel top pocket, and air tag holder.

X-pac® VX21RS
The Bespoke 30L Dragonfly 0326 is fully-lined (with the exception of the bottom panel) in X-pac® VX21 RS, which was chosen for its softer hand and enhanced tear resistance. Constructed with a C6 DWR 210D ripstop nylon face with polyester and PU waterproof coating, black polyester X-Ply™ at 22°, and a 50D polyester taffeta backing, this material offers low-stretch, reliable weather protection and structural integrity under load.
