The Cicada is a streamlined, front-loading daypack designed for intuitive organization and ease of access. Four exterior pockets—two smaller zippered stash pockets, a larger front compartment, and a discreet passport pocket hidden within the false back panel—provide secure yet quick access to essentials. Inside, a padded laptop sleeve with a false bottom protects your tech from impact. The thoughtful internal layout features static, mesh-zippered pockets, a full-height UltraStretch™ mesh sleeve, and dual internal UltraStretch™ mesh bottle or accessory pockets. A low-profile pen/stylus holder is integrated into the front panel for those moments your ideas need to move as quickly as you do.

Designed with travel in mind, the Cicada includes a luggage pass-through sleeve and concealed security pocketing for smooth transitions through airports and urban environments. Comfort is delivered through a breathable mesh back panel, padded haul loop, and ULA’s signature S-Straps.

For the Cicada 0126, we selected P400 Alchemy Waxed Canvas from Halley Stevensons of Scotland for its durability, weather resistance, and ability to evolve with use.

Halley Stevensons has been developing technical waxed cottons since 1864 for maritime, military, and industrial applications. Their textiles combine heritage manufacturing with modern performance, producing fabrics that are durable, built to last, and develop character with age.

P400 Alchemy is a tightly woven, 100% BCI cotton canvas. A unique blend of Wax C4X and soft waxes provides a slightly firm, warm handle. This finish offers improved durability and weatherproofing.

True to the Bespoke Series philosophy of intentional design, this fabric creates a pack that improves with age. In contrast to synthetic materials, which remain visually static, P400 Alchemy records movement, travel, and wear…softening, darkening, and becoming more personal with use.

Challenge Outdoor EPX200 EcoPak™

The interior of Cicada 0126 is finished with EPX200 EcoPak™ by Challenge Outdoor, an innovative technical laminate that is the world’s only durable, waterproof fabric made from 100% recycled polyester fiber and film.

In addition to upcycling twenty plastic water bottles per yard, EcoPak’s C0 DWR finish contains no fluorocarbons.

Unlike traditional liners, the fabric resists stretching and deformation over time, maintaining the pack’s structure even with frequent use.

Chosen for both performance and visibility, the bright Golden Daisy color was selected for internal contrast, making it easier to locate gear in low-light conditions.
