Weighing just 31 ounces (880 g), this pack is constructed from the most advanced waterproof and ultralight materials available.
Crafted of Ultra TX fabric and UltraStretch™ mesh, we've created the perfect pack for one-bag travel you can actually trust. Ultra™ fabrics are 15x stronger than steel by weight, twice as abrasion-resistant as same-weight nylons, and waterproof to 200 psi, meaning this pack is tough enough to handle any conditions you may encounter. Except maybe bears.
By popular demand, this version of our award winning Dragonfly features a pass-through sleeve that allows you to rest your pack on a roller bag while on the go. Additionally, the hidden 8" x 9" pass-through pocket provides hidden storage for valuables like passports.
Our signature S-strap shoulder straps and a removable sternum strap ensure all-day comfort. Discreet 1" attachment loops behind the lower shoulder strap anchors allow for the optional Dragonfly + Packrat Hipbelt (compatible only with newer Dragonfly models featuring these loops—check your pack to confirm). A padded haul loop offers a comfortable grip, even at max loads. YKK AquaGuard water-resistant zippers throughout.

TECHNICAL FABRICS
ULTRA
ULTRA™ represents a new paradigm in weight and durability. Constructed with an optimal blend of UHMWPE (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) and high-tenacity polyester, this tight weave is laminated with an eco-friendly adhesive to Challenge RUV™ film. The result is an incredibly strong, ultralight, and waterproof to 200 PSI textile. ULTRA™ is the ultimate ultralight fabric, with the strength to go the distance in the most demanding environments.
ULTRA 400TX
A high modulus pack fabric, ULTRA 400TX, is constructed of a 400d Ultra PE (similar to Dyneema®) with a white tafita backing to give the fabric a visible and more durable interior. It is 20% lighter and four times as abrasion-resistant than other 400d U-PE fabrics.

ULTRASTRETCH™

Great one-bag travel pack! Did two weeks in India with just this pack. When I came back through customs in the US, they asked me where the rest of my luggage was! I like the thickness of the Ultra fabric as it gives the pack some rigidity that belies its weight, and allows me to carry some heavier things like camera gear without the pack losing shape. I’m a professional photographer, and carried about 15lbs of gear in the bag, along with one packing cube of clothing and a toiletries bag. The passport pocket is very useful, though the zipper pull is tiny and hard to grab. I didn’t expect to use the bungee, but it was actually pretty handy for a puffer jacket. The top pocket is a great size, and holds its shape well. Zippers are relatively smooth, and seem to add some shape to the bag. A few points that could be improved: 1) the front pocket is not really convenient for storing anything. Even a paperback book struggles to get through the tight zippered opening, and then the zipper scratches your hands when you have to reach into the pocket to fish anything out… 2) The side pockets have much less stretch than I’d expected. There isn’t much dimension to them, so anything you put in eats into the capacity of the main compartment. I had to empty the side pockets to zip up the bag on a few occasions while packing it out. 3) The luggage passthrough is really wide, so it’s a bit sloppy to put on a rolling suitcase, and I kept having to adjust it. All in all, a great travel bag for an ultra-minimalist. Would love to see a next iteration with a few additional refinements. 🙂
